When should you book your wedding photo booth in Quebec?

The right lead time: 4 to 6 months

For a wedding, aim for 4 to 6 months before the date. That window serves two purposes: it secures the booth for your weekend, and it leaves time to prepare the personalization without rushing.

This isn't a constraint on our side, it's the natural rhythm of planning. Six months out, you've generally settled the venue, the caterer and the theme — and therefore the colours our designers need to build your filter.

Why it's tighter in Quebec

The Quebec wedding season is short and very dense. Most of it plays out from June to September, peaking on late-summer Saturdays. Past mid-October, weather and logistics discourage most outdoor receptions.

The consequence: where other markets spread weddings across six or seven months, Quebec concentrates the majority into roughly sixteen weekends. July and August Saturdays are mechanically the first to go — with us as with venues, caterers and photographers.

The flip side is more pleasant: if your wedding falls in October, winter or spring, the pressure disappears entirely. A few weeks of lead time is enough, and you'll have far more choice across all your vendors.

And for a last-minute request?

Ask anyway. We regularly handle requests a few weeks out, sometimes a few days out, and the answer is often yes — especially off-season or midweek.

Technically, nothing stands in the way: setup takes 30 seconds, the booth runs on its own with its 5G SIM card, and you can collect it free of charge in Saint-Lambert or Quebec City. Logistics therefore stay light right to the end.

The only element that genuinely needs lead time is the custom filter: allow 24h after we receive your artwork. If time is short, we start from a simple template in your colours rather than dropping personalization altogether.

What happens once the date is locked

Once the booking is confirmed, our designers build your filter from your artwork and deliver it within 24h for approval. All that remains is to settle how you collect the booth: free pickup in Saint-Lambert or Quebec City, or delivery with setup and pickup for $175 CAD within a 25 km radius.

One last point that weighs on planning: the booth is rented for the whole weekend. You don't have to choose between the cocktail hour and the dance floor, or watch an end time. It can even change venue between Friday and Sunday.
